Day at the zoo

Went to the zoo today with 3 housemates plus the mom of one of the housemates.. =x haha weird? actually it was alright (: the mom's cool hahaha..here's a picture of us all

When singaporeans and malaysians get together, you're bound to hear butchered english.Aiya what to do? Lol
Anyway, to start off the day, we got to the zoo around 11am. A surprising sight greeted us all.

See how long the bloody queue was! Everyone (including us) were stupid enough to waste money (my ticket was AUD18.50) just to see some stinky animals. Ah well, I could probably say this is human nature, to spend money where they should not :D Lol, personal opinion though ;)
However, the queue shortened relatively quickly, and I was soon staring at this

After buying tickets, we walked and walked and walked and walked and walked.....
for five hours, looking at the animals.
Yeah you saw right..

this was a really weird bird. It kept flapping its wings for God knows what reason. Looked funny though :D

no idea why this orang utan was covering his head with the sack. hahaha

this is the arse of an animal called Mandrill. This is supposed to be the male mandrill. look at the female's arse.

IT IS SO ****ING DISGUSTING! I only took the side view..couldn't even bring myself to look at full frontal. and considering the fact that I can handle practically anything gross/disgusting/eewy stuff, this is pretty serious.

Anyway, to try to forget about that, Ima gonna introduce you guys to a super cute animal called the Emperor Tamarin!

sorry if it's not clear, with all the bars/wires of the cage blocking its cute face. you guys can try googling it. It has a beard and a moustache curling upwards. super cute! hahaha

Ended today with dinner at a chinese restaurant, called the wonton noodle shop or something like that. located at chinatown. the food was very average. will not be returning there next time. better to eat at spicy fish restaurant, also at chinatown :D

alrighty, need to take a shower, pack my bag for first day of uni tomorrow, and sleep (: 

and of course, thanks to Joshua, for explaining to me how blogspot works. cheers, man. :D
